Its primary use is in compounded plastics to increase impact strength and stiffness. Productivity gains may also be realized due to increased thermal conductivity.

A fine ground marble. Its fine particle size and low 325 mesh residue offer good performance in applications where a high Hegman grind and a smooth surface are required.
Gama-Sperse® 255
A free-flowing coarse, medium size particle with a very clean top-cut. Gama-Sperse 255 has a controlled intermediate broad particle size distribution and a low 325 mesh residue. It's useful when flatting and smoothness of finish are desired.
Gama-Sperse® CS-11
A premium, fine particle size, beneficiated wet ground marble that is surface modified to facilitate dispersion. Gama-Sperse CS-11 uses proprietary processing to minimize residual (-OH) functionality.
Glomax® LL
A medium particle size kaolin clay that has a long-standing history of performance as an extender pigment in paint systems where high whiteness and good opacifying properties are required. It also provides good sheen control and excellent scrub resistance in coatings applications. Glomax LL is also used in polymers to provide stiffness, dimensional stability and good electrical properties. Because the product has been heat-treated at a high temperature, Glomax LL offers good heat and chemical resistance. In addition, its low moisture content makes it appropriate foruse in some rubber applications.

Hydrite® Flat D
A coarse, acid-flocculated non-predispersed kaolin pigment having a controlled coarse particle size distribution. Its low water, oil and resin demand are suited for rubber applications.
Hydrite® PXN
A fine particle, acid-flocculated kaolin clay with controlled particle distribution. Hydrite® PXN has undergone specialized processing to reduce the ionic contamination to a minimum resulting in low conductivity in aqueous suspensions.
Hydrite® R
A fine particle, acid-flocculated kaolin clay with controlled particle distribution and rheological properties. Hydrite® R has good whiteness, is free of coarse particles and has a medium oil demand. It is suitable where a controlled acid pH is required.
Hydrite® RS
A spray-dried, predispersed version of Hydrite® R that has been lightly pulverized. The light pulverization improves the compounding in mechanical rubber goods without creating excessive dust. Hydrite RS has good whiteness and a controlled particle size distribution. Hydrite RS is also available in slurry form.
