Imerys is actively working in partnership with its customers to develop new and unique solutions to solve their technical challenges. Imerys brings its unique knowledge of mineral technology, combined with unrivalled depth of application expertise to improve the formulation of its customers’ products. We are always open to speculative enquiries about what engineered minerals can offer, contact us and we may be able to help you, based on our experience and knowledge.
With a staff of approximately 270 scientists and technologists, in 12 laboratories worldwide, IMERYS is engaged in applied research, product development and investigation of mineral applications. The largest laboratories are in South West England, Georgia, USA and Brazil. The latest testing and analytical techniques and equipment are employed in these state-of-the-art facilities.
Research & Development
Imerys’ R & D resources are focused on specific industries, ensuring in-depth expertise and a single-minded concentration on customer solutions. The aim is to develop the most efficient processes to produce the most effective materials for each application, backed up by the best possible technical service and advice. Imerys works extensively with universities and external institutes in the UK and the USA to ensure it draws on knowledge and expertise at the forefront of technology.
