Calcium Carbonate in Film Applications
The Film industry uses fine calcium carbonate to reduce the formulation cost, especially relevant when polymer prices are high, and also to increase processing speeds. The market leading FilmLink range of engineered calcium carbonates is used to make breatheable film widely used in making diapers (nappies), adult healthcare products and films for construction purposes. Great care is taken during all stages of manufacture to produce the Filmlink that allows film producers to operate at higher outputs than competitors calcium carbonates.
