Product Consistency and Quality
The OpTiMat™ matting agents production process is unique. An extremely high level of quality is achieved, thanks to our rigorous control of particle size distribution, providing excellent consistency
in performance.
Exceptional matting for smooth surface finishes
OpTiMat™ matting agents consist of unique three-dimensional particle shapes that provide exceptional matting properties at low loading rates without sacrificing the surface smoothness of the finished coating. Due to control of particle size, OpTiMat™ matting agents create enough surface roughness to matt paints and keep good film properties such as burnish and scrub resistance.

Surface smoothness and performance
The particle shapes in OpTiMat™ matting agents and homogeneity of dispersion in paint film delivers very good mechanical performance while maintaining excellent surface smoothness. The paint film surface is altered just enough to scatter the light to obtain the desired matt effect.
