Imerys produces several ground and sized calcium carbonate products suitable for use as a bridging agent in drill-in, completion, and workover fluids. The acid-soluble material will increase the mud density to approximately 12 lb/gal and can be dissolved with hydrochloric acid to clean up production zones. Sized calcium carbonate particles also help control fluid loss in drilling fluids.
