IMERYS Performance Minerals North America Announces Price Adjustments of Carbonates for the Carpet Market

Atlanta, GA, February 17, 2009 – Imerys Performance Minerals North America announces a price increase for its Calcium Carbonate products sold to the carpet market, subject to any provisions in individual contracts, across its entire product portfolio. The price increases will range from 8% to 12% and are effective March 1, 2009, [or as current price agreements expire].
