Kaopolite® Kaolin KR is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate processed to a fine soft particle suitable for use in formulations where purity, bacteria control and high whiteness are desired. In face and body scrubs, masks, lotions, mascara, hair care products, pressed powders and liquid foundations, Kaopolite Kaolin USP brings specific properties to improve product performance.
Acala® USP Precipitated Calcium Carbonates are used when oil absorption, polishing properties or a low abrasive thickener is required. They are particularly useful in anhydrous formulations with an alkaline pH.
In toothpaste, Acala products have the ability to react with monofluorophosphate salts to inhibit caries. Calcium carbonate may help neutralize harmful plaque acids, enhance enamel remineralization and remove extrinsic stain.
